As you can see it takes about 2.5 seconds to thread mill each hole. Advantages of thread milling include speed, accuracy, identical start leads, uniform depth, works great for inside or outside threads, large diameter threads are no problem and you don't have to worry about breaking taps off in expensive parts. Being able to do smaller threads is a good indicator of a smooth, accurate machine since the solid carbide thread mills are tiny and easy to break. This machine has the rigidity, accuracy and superb 3 axis interpolation to thread mill even M5 threads with ease. With up to 1400 Nm spindle torque there is no practical limit as to how large of threads you could mill. Place a Bid!
